For the past twenty five years, Dadavan has been partnering with Indigenous communities across Canada to develop and implement purpose-built data management systems.

Our relationship with Indigenous people began in 2001 when we started collaborating with Mi’kmaw Kina’matnewey (MK) in Nova Scotia. MK are the collective voice for Mi’kmaq education in Nova Scotia. We were honoured to work together with them to customize our student information system to meet their unique needs. We gradually began to speak with other communities, learn and develop respect for Indigenous culture and now have the privilege of many First Nation and Inuit relationships across the country.

Our ever-evolving suite of products, used across all provinces, manages data in education, health care, cultural preservation, child welfare, member management—and we keep growing!

Our years of extensive experience collaborating with Indigenous communities helps us understand the challenges and successes communities are experiencing. We are proud to be known as the company to turn to when a n ew database is needed. And, as we continue to move in to the future and continue to listen to our communities’ stories and ideas, we can’t wait to see what we will build together next.
